Founded in Montreal in 2000,GO FILMS is a film production boutique that specializes in independant movies.
Innovative and eclectic, GO FILMS has produced many features which have earned millions at the box-office and numerous awards on the national and international stages. Movies such as: Québec-Montréal, Jutra for best picture, Bayard d’or for best script Namur; Les Aimants (Love and Magnets), Jutra for best script; Cheech, best actor, Atlantic; Tout est parfait (Everything is fine), Grand jury prize, Seattle, Bayard d’or for best script, Namur.
Remake rights of Sur le seuil (Evil Words), Québec-Montréal, and Horloge biologique (Dodging the clock) were acquired by US companies, and Les Aimants (Love and Magnets) was adapted for television by Russia.
GO FILMS is also know for discovering - and launching the career of many screenwriters, directors and actors.

Nicole Robert, founder and president of Go Films, is the award-winning producer of more than 24 features that earned millions at the box-office. Movies such as La Guerre des tuques (The Dog Who Stopped The War) by André Melançon (GOLDEN REEL AWARD 1985), Requiem pour un beau sans coeur (Requiem For A Handsome Bastard) by Robert Morin (BEST CANADIAN FILM, TORONTO 1992), Québec-Montréal by Ricardo Trogi (BEST PICTURE, JUTRA 2003), Karmina and its sequel K2 by Gabriel Pelletier, Horloge biologique (Dodging The clock) by Ricardo Trogi (BEST COMEDY, OLIVIER 2006) and the cult TV series La vie, la vie (BEST DRAMATIC SERIES, GÉMEAU 2002).

She is known for discovering new talents, such as directors Yves Christian Fournier (Tout est parfait-Everything Is Fine), Robert Morin (Requiem pour un beau sans-cœur-Requiem For A Handsome Bastard), Raphaël Malo (Le cas Roberge), Yves Pelletier (Les aimants-Love & Magnets), Podz (Les 7 jours du Talion-Seven Days), Patrice Sauvé (Cheech), Éric Tessier (Sur le seuil-Evil Words), Ricardo Trogi (Québec-Montréal); and writers, Stéphane Bourguignon (La vie, la vie), François Létourneau (Cheech), Jean-Philippe Pearson, Patrice Robitaille, Ricardo Trogi (Québec-Montréal), Yves Pelletier (Les aimants-Love & Magnets), Patrick Senécal (Les 7 jours du Talion-Seven Days), and Guillaume Vigneault (Tout est parfait-Everything Is Fine).

Nicole Robert was honoured at the Gala des Femmes du cinéma, de la télévision et des nouveaux médias, for her lifelong achievement and contribution to the industry.

Nicole Robert is prensently producing L'affaire Dumont (The Dumont Affair), a feature film by Podz, based on a true story, and will release La peur de l’eau (Fear Of Water), shot in Magdalen Islands, on January 27th, 2012.

Before launching her first production company, Lux Films, Nicole was a graphic designer, and worked on animated shorts for 10 years, with Les Films Québec Love and Animabec as founder and president.
